Want less toxins in your food?

There are so many reports/stories about the toxins we can consume everyday from the water we drink to the food we eat, and from what we might store them in. I am always looking for ways to reduce these toxins; staying away from plastic to store or preserve my food, filtering my water (I am grateful to have well water), and growing my own food. My newest adventure involves making my own yogurt, butter, and soft cheeses. I do not have my own cows, but live in a rural area, so finding fresh milk is not difficult. By making my own yogurt, butter, and cheese, I can control what goes in it and how much. If you have never tried making your own or have tried and failed, I ran across a video series that explains it very well. I have listened to it twice now. For me, making the yogurt, butter, and cream cheese is relatively simple, but have not ventured to the hard cheese as of yet. I will, but want to really master the others first. The health benefits are priceless and my family thinks it taste so much better! Plus the dairy video shares how you can use store bought milk and still make these products. If you like to try new things or need help with the "how-to" click on the link below. Carolyn does a fantastic job of explaining/teaching this concept. You will be glad you did! Stay inspired and try new things.

Let me know if you tried making your own and if you think it was worth it. If you have questions, feel free to ask.
